Pros

Many social initiatives in India

Cons

There’s a big difference on how woman and men are treated here. Harassment cases are covered up by management. In such cases, they seek to justify this as common behaviour, suggesting that the victim improves her ability to communicate, not the accused. It’s normal to see men screaming, humiliating and harassing woman. In addition, the salary gap is huge for men and women working in the same role, even when women do significantly more and better work. It’s just impossible to get a raise, they will keep making excuses while hoping for you to give up. Even if your performance has been fantastic for years. And it is very costly that you get a response from the company in this regard, and when you do, the answer is no. Same for education budgets and other benefits. HR is also extremely problematic, any request will end up in a loop of emails in which a colleague is passing responsibility to the other and no one solves anything. Not even problems like wrong payments are taking seriously; again, they just wait for you to give up. I do not recommend this company, especially if you are a woman or any talented professional, just run.

Pros

Data Center Exposure Free lunch in cafeteria at Mesa location Can have a lot of downtime Not aggressively tracking you on everything Job is not difficult

Cons

no free lunch for other locations in valley Pay could be better Only contracted to work with the data center company, HCLTech could potentially lose the contract not directly employed by data center company. No benefits if working through an agency, only paid holidays if direct HCL. Management is a bit scattered.
