Pros

Amazing benefits Able to negotiate a high salary because the recruiters are clueless Lateral opportunities are present however your local manager will never approve , I suppose you can fight it .

Cons

A few months after a company uses HCL, they switch from that wonderful , veteran staffed service desk they brag about in North Carolina to a cluster of offshore call centers who manage multiple clients. The support is clueless, user satisfaction drops and management decides it's the staffs duty to pick up this slack. Senior Management is very condescening to staff if you're not an H1-B . You're blatantly put in an abrasive role with your client nitpicking every single billable line item to squeeze them for every cent possible despite abysmal service.

Cons

Low pay, no Communication. They Lie. My contract ran out, We had a lot of work and not enough people. They told me they were exyending my contract and to come back to work on Monday. I went to work on Monday and I was locked out of the system. All my id's were disabled. I have been waiting for two weeks to be rehired. At first people were sending out emails to find out what was going on, now there is nothing. I've been ghosted. This happened to a number of people. Plus the people they just let go !!!!!
