Pros
I've worked for HCL America for a little over a year and have been very happy with them as an employer. They do an excellent job of keeping employees informed about what is going on at the company. They are also very straight forward and honestly dedicated to doing good work for their customers. The benefits are very good.
Cons
There is always a lack of job security when you are a contractor. This kind of company and career is not for everyone. Some also have trouble working for an outsourcing company. It can also be difficult to do this kind of work if you like being part of a team. You connection to the larger HCL may only be through e-mails and newsletters, and you may not feel connected to the team at the company work site.
