Pros

Increased automation and AI‑driven processes to deliver services to MVW and other clients at a more competitive cost than if performed domestically.

Cons

HCLTech has been expanding its U.S. footprint by taking on additional domestic business functions, including Finance and Accounting work, from Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW). The arrangement represents a substantial investment and appears to include the quiet transition of certain MVW employees into HCLTech’s workforce. Industry observers note that such transitions can sometimes precede phased workforce reductions, which may lessen direct reputational impact or regulatory reporting obligations for the originating company. As part of the broader outsourcing strategy, HCLTech is expected to leverage its lower‑cost labor base in India along with increased automation and AI‑driven processes to deliver services to MVW at a more competitive cost. Don’t be misled by promises of ‘redeployment’ when your company is taken over, these options are often not genuine.

Pros

It was a job. Pros??? None

Cons

Low pay, no Communication. They Lie. My contract ran out, We had a lot of work and not enough people. They told me they were exyending my contract and to come back to work on Monday. I went to work on Monday and I was locked out of the system. All my id's were disabled. I have been waiting for two weeks to be rehired. At first people were sending out emails to find out what was going on, now there is nothing. I've been ghosted. This happened to a number of people. Plus the people they just let go !!!!!
