Cons
Lack of Work, Poor Management, and No Career Growth I joined the Education department hoping for a stable role with meaningful work. Unfortunately, in three months I was given only one piece of work, despite repeatedly asking my manager for responsibilities or clarification. When I raised concerns about the lack of work, I was made to feel as though the issue was my performance, even though the work I completed was approved by the courts. There was noticeable favouritism, very little guidance, and no real opportunities for development. The environment felt discouraging and at times bullying. I had left a stable job to join this company, so I tried to make it work, but ultimately I was let go on the same day my manager finally admitted that work “just isn’t coming in.” Seeing that they are hiring again for the same position, I feel it’s important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. Poor communication, unstable workload, and unclear management expectations made this a very difficult place to work. I wouldn’t recommend this role to anyone looking for stability or career progression.
