Pros

The company pays well and is in the midst of relatively substantial growth, so there is opportunity to get in while they're still relatively small - positioning yourself to grow with the company as they succeed.

Cons

This was one of the most political work environments I've ever worked in. There are two offices - Austin and Chicago. The Austin office is a particularly toxic environment, where people relish talking about each other more than about the work. There always needs to be a "villain". This mentality comes from the top down as some of the top leaders across finance, digital, and more - are some of the most vindictive. In Chicago, it's a smaller office; unfortunately, the political games of Austin have permeated their ways into Chicago as well. Want to try and move ahead? Make sure you complain about someone else. This is present in Account and Copy ACD leadership, and runs downstream.

Pros

Honestly all the people here are gems they are considerate of each others time and trust each other to develop solid campaigns. As a person of color I really appreciated how welcoming the team was with my ideas and really felt included and seen in every kick off/ brainstorm.

Cons

none really that I can name unfortunately agency life entails being beholden to changing of the guard when it comes to clients and that can lead to layoffs otherwise no cons
