Cons
They don't pay on time. I worked for this company for about a year. At first, everything was great, but then my monthly payment would arrive later and later each month. Eventually, they owed me around $10,000 of overdue payments for around 4-5 months of work. They made every excuse under the sun for the late payments and tried to trick me into doing more work for them by claiming to have sent payments that never arrived. This deception included sending pictures of old payslips to try to fool me into thinking they'd sent the overdue payment via international bank transfer. These promises of "we have just sent your payment" never resulted in money arriving in my account. To get my money, I had to threaten to contact every single Harrisco client (contact details are on the papers they send out for editing) and let them know about this company's policy of not paying contractors. When I did this, the lies suddenly stopped and I received the overdue payment the next day. Harrisco then cut contact with me. The other major cons are: 1. They piled far more work onto me than I'd told them I could take on. 2. They're very difficult to communicate with and very dishonest.
