Pros

You get to travel, unlimited food and drink budget in travel expenses. Free coffee. Cool product, environmentally friendly etc. great chance to build skills.

Cons

Sales people are hired or promoted with the verbal promise of commission, but it's never paid. You're just told "we're still working on that" or "we don't owe you anything". The company has been losing more and more money, but they still set aggressively high sales goals without any justification for these goals. There's hardly any marketing budget or consumer demand. Marketing is "viral videos" that get 500 views. That's about it. Assessments of employees is based on gossip, sucking up, and office politics - not the actual value of the person. Management is always chasing the next shiny penny - the newest employee is always the person who will save the company. When they can't deliver because of underlying problems, they're then marked as "the problem". Problems in the company are always blamed on the most recent employee to leave. It's convenient to blame them instead of truly addressing the problem. Immensely negative culture. High turnover. Unstable environment. Negative people are kept so good people leave.

Pros

A lot of meetings were held so I could present my ideas for improvement and the overall betterment of the Haan website and their design and their SEO. The major variances in web traffic every week demonstrated the potential to tap into the vast SEO resources I accumulated during my long career. There was a distinct lack of null search terms from our Bing indexing during my tenure at Haan. What does this mean? It means there's a lot of potential to create SEO optimization and maximize profits with the purchase of just a few simple software programs and website design tweaks and redesigns.

Cons

Management frequently closes their door when they see you coming. Despite my excellent, and well informed knowledge i attained in my years of experience in the field of SEO and Digital Marketing and Branding and Design my advice was never heeded or listened to. Branding is insufficient and despite the vast wealth of resources given to every employee No one understands how to properly align a brand while maximizing marketing costs and indexing on Google. Office is hostile towards people with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ who have found enlightenment and salvation through Him. Management are frequently in meetings when you need to speak to them about digital indexing and get upset when you interrupt. The printer would never print my excel docs as they were on the computer.
