Pros
Absolutely none, unless you are able to switch your brain off to being mistreated and don't mind being exploited because you're desperate for money.
Cons
Management high up through to the ones at the depot couldn’t care less about their staff, and treat them like a number. Unprofessional with how they communicate and treat you. They can’t seem to pick up the phone and respectfully talk to you about anything. You’re supposed to be able to work part time and even after being accepted on this basis and working months of part time hours, you are then suddenly taken off the rota without any explanation and then removed from the groups. The managers pick and choose who to favour and treat the rest of us like imbeciles with zero respect with the way messages are worded in the groups towards us. No provisions offered if you become pregant, even though it says on their website they do so for even their contracted staff, but of course that is just a tick box operation to look good. They charge you money to pay your invoice £10 an invoice, with no option to opt for monthly payments. That's effectively £520 pa they're profiting from their drivers. You're not told about this either it is only hidden in small print. The job adverts are misleading with incorrect pay and bonus payments. They make out the job is better than it is, saying 9 hour shifts but done in 7 hours. If any damage occurs they will just take money from you in whatever way they like without having any discussions with you first. What is the point in having insurance. They will also make assumptions on any incidents that have occurred without actually talking to any of their drivers. There is no phone numbers to talk to anyone at head office, and any of the email accounts you are reluctantly given are never signed off by a name, they're incredibly elusive, probably because they know they'll get constant complaints. If you do a good job, you are rewarded with MORE WORK! Even though the workload is the same, some of us are efficient and work harder to get done earlier, but then we are penalised for this. Long tiring hours, pushing for perfect statistics that only benefit H20 and never the drivers. Because the more stops get added on, it becomes unsafe for the drivers because they feel over worked, and rushed. With no breaks and you are left in the middle of no where sometimes having to pee in bottles, which is just degrading for a woman! If you dare voice your opinions on anything, you're basically told to like it or lump it as nothing is ever going to change. Any training Amazon give you, goes out the window, hence why most customers are annoyed with the delivery drivers, because we are so overworked and stressed and not doing what we should be doing! Absolute unscrupulous company to work for!! Avoid at all costs! They're liars, cheats and ruthless - the negativity is fed down the chain!
