Pros

Fun working with influencers and good exposure if you like this industry.

Cons

When I first started working at Gushcloud, I was a fresh grad full of hope, drive, and the determination to do well. This was immediately shut down by the toxic work culture and the manner in which specific account managers speak to their sub-ordinates (rudely, and with a lack of empathy). As an individual, I’m easy-going and can get along with most people - but working with this team was the hardest thing I had to do. The account manager was always unkind and had a habit of putting people down. This person is still in the company because she knows the market, but otherwise would not be accepted anywhere else with that attitude. I accepted this job because I wanted the experience, I wanted to learn and I wanted to give my all despite having a very minimal salary. I received ZERO support, and this continued even when I switched teams. I worked day and night, different time zones, and not once did I get even a “good job” or a “you’re doing well” or “keep it up” at least. Little things like this mean a lot to someone who’s just starting out, and I had the complete opposite - even lowkey being discriminated. Every week I would cry at least once because of how this person would treat me. I could not understand AT ALL how or why someone could be so negative to their fellow colleague - or to anyone at all?! In summary, it was very negative experience for me, especially for one of my first jobs, but it made me stronger and made me appreciate my present and future employers and bosses that much more. While I am grateful for the opportunity to learn about this industry - I can say that it was the best decision I ever made to leave this company.

Pros

You get to work with a lot of very cool talent

Cons

Micromanagement, we were on 3 calls everyday to discuss what we were doing. The company doesn't believe in WFH structures so you are constantly being watched. They want you to communicate through an app called DingTalk which can track your location whenever you log in You are expected to work 60-80 hours a week
