Pros
This is the first company that I can tell cares about its people. C-level execs actively listen to employees and take note of how they can improve processes, the environment, our work situations. They don't just give you a survey to fill out, they meet with you in person (zoom) to have a conversation, this allows they to truly understand employee needs. Management listens to feedback and acts as immediately as possible. If a process isn't working and and employee has a better suggestion, they will apply it. People at GumGum are supportive of each other and put their teams first. I have never felt like I am bothering someone or that any question I have to ask is stupid. With the remote world, the company is doing its best to create opportunities to socialize and create conversations beyond work topics. They understand that it is important to know your team and feel welcome whether you've been there for years or weeks.
Cons
Timezones make working with other teams a bit difficult. But this is feedback that management has taken and is currently working on fixing.
