Pros

- when the economy isnt going off its a great job. while you will be held to high standards but the workload is manageable. never really work late. it is 9-6 though. - most teams do hybrid work, but the specifics are up to the team management. - the culture is very dependent on the team your placed on. you wont really know anyone outside your team, so its a little bit of a forced friend group. everyone is young. im 25 and im nearly the oldest one on a team of 20. - quarterly social outings like drinks or dinner. regular happy hours (theres a tap with beer/wine in the office) - free snacks, coffee, tea -beautiful nyc office

Cons

- when the economy is doing well they dont mind drowning you in work. ive mostly been here during the beginning of a recession, but the people senior to me say that last year they worked late all the time. so beware. - some teams discourage you from taking a lunch break. - a very white, privileged, homogeneous, "im from Connecticut" culture. if you thrived in a frat/sorority youll do well here. otherwise you might feel alienated.

Pros

the only pros are the salary and two hybrid days

Cons

Do not take a job with Guidepoint, even if you were a strong student in college and consider yourself a hard worker. The project managers are fine, but the team leads are awful. You won’t learn any tangible skills; the work largely consists of reaching out to people on LinkedIn for hours on end. On top of that, they will let people go very easily. Stay away from this company.
