Pros

Hybrid work schedule, decent pay, and all the associates are new graduates so they're fun to hang out with

Cons

The entire job is just scrolling through LinkedIn and harassing people with actual careers. You build no skills, are micromanaged, and expected to work extremely long hours. People in management are not promoted based on merit and have no business managing other people. It's incredibly stressful for no reason, considering how mindless the nature of the work is. You won't learn anything about market research or any valuable skills. It really is 8+ hours of using LinkedIn to harass people and cold calling people who really do not want to be called. Their business practices are shady, and the only way to leave the job is if you go back to school or can network your way into a new position. Also, it's an incredibly hostile environment for anyone who is not a man or white. If you're a new graduate looking for your first job, keep looking. They intentionally recruit recent grads who won't recognize all of Guidepoint's red flags until it's too late. You're better off being unemployed for a few more months than having to suffer here. Take all the negative reviews seriously.

Thank you for your feedback. It's unfortunate that you feel that your time at Guidepoint was wasted, but of course, we see things a bit differently. The role of associate teaches a range of hard and soft skills like strategic prioritization, problem-solving, and accountability that will benefit you wherever your career takes you. Just ask the thousands of former associates who have achieved great things in their careers as doctors or lawyers or hedge fund analysts, to name a few. We'd be happy to discuss further if you'd like. Please reach out to us at feedback@guidepoint.com and we’ll schedule some time.

Pros

the only pros are the salary and two hybrid days

Cons

Do not take a job with Guidepoint, even if you were a strong student in college and consider yourself a hard worker. The project managers are fine, but the team leads are awful. You won’t learn any tangible skills; the work largely consists of reaching out to people on LinkedIn for hours on end. On top of that, they will let people go very easily. Stay away from this company.
