Pros

- Good work life balance at the associate level, but see cons. - Work with young, intelligent, and driven coworkers

Cons

- Poor work-life balance once you become more client-facing. I found myself consistently online from around 8 am to whenever my email stopped churning (could sometimes be around midnight). When we were in the office I quite literally felt chained to my desk from 8:45 to 5:45, it was uncommon for people to take actual lunch breaks away from their desk. - Limited room for growth past the PM level. There's really no chance to develop new skills once you've taken ownership of an account. The only thing they really want to focus on is having you squeeze as much revenue out of your given account. -Repetitive. After a while at the job, it can boil down to a pretty simple formula where you don't necessarily feel mentally stimulated. This paired with little room to grow new skills/career development can make it feel like a ticking time bomb in terms of your ability to land a new role afterward.

Pros

the only pros are the salary and two hybrid days

Cons

Do not take a job with Guidepoint, even if you were a strong student in college and consider yourself a hard worker. The project managers are fine, but the team leads are awful. You won’t learn any tangible skills; the work largely consists of reaching out to people on LinkedIn for hours on end. On top of that, they will let people go very easily. Stay away from this company.
