Pros

There some nice people around, but nothing else otherwise

Cons

I joined the company not that long ago and my first impression was really positive - the change for better is on the way, lots of amazing ideas and management seems to be very open. I'd met couple people at that time who were skeptical and couldn't understand why, but over few months it became clear. Conversations about change and openness and trust are favourite talking points of higher management, but unfortunately none of it is a real thing here, especially when people at the top don't trust each other and don't trust their employees. By this time I absolutely confident the only chance to see a change in this company can come with new people at the very top

Pros

Lots of fresh faces in the company and it's giving a hope it can reset the mood and company will finally reinvent itself. In the recent move development was re-organized into few teams and more experienced and right people were placed to lead them instead of those who could just talk and spread toxic culture around. Another positive change - we finally got the head of engineering, it's absolutely vital position for software company but top management didn't understand it for very long time. Hopefully they will realize that tech leads and architects are needed here too.

Cons

Still a lot of struggles around development, which is quite slow. Newly hired people are very inexperienced and it's a result of flaws in hiring process - cultural fit means much more than skills and experience, there should be more balanced approach

Pros

The employees were fantastic to collaborate with, quite a lot of autonomy on projects

Cons

Turnover rate in company is extremely high - layoffs after layoffs creates very unstable environment and people are resigning on their own, in just few months the stuff has changed by more than a half. Leadership is inexperienced and doesn't listen to people - all you say in one-on-one meeting accepted with enthusiasm and... ignored or even used against you later. The quality of hiring process is low - very often weak people hire even weaker people (maybe just to look good?). There is no clear vision or direction, priorities keep changing, development is delayed, customers left neglected.
