Pros

Clean, comfortable office. Benifits package from day one. Decent starting wage. Friendly coworkers. Feels safe; Secure entry points prevent unauthorized entry. Large parking lot. Full kitchen for employee use. 2 paid 15 minute breaks, in-house staffed cafeteria to buy breakfast and lunch, frequent employee engagement activities. Internet kiosks to allow employees to access some sites blocked at their desks (social media, online banking, etc.) Annual Christmas party, frequent offsite happy hours throughout the year, Heavy into charity causes. Very Fancy Conference Room with Very Impressive Awards on display!

Cons

Call center on an auto answer headset. Essentially chained to your desk. No merit raises for several years. No real room for advancement; just lateral shifts. Even if you have a valid reason for being late, you get docked 15 minutes of your sick time, even if you clocked in well under that time. Break times are also highly scrutinized. Everything you do is tracked or monitored. Need your name badge to even access the bathrooms. Security cameras everywhere. All phone calls are recorded and spot checked. Your work is tracked and your worth is determined by numbers created by the metrics and algorithms. Your stats are sent out monthly to the floor for everyone to see with low performers highlighted in bright red. Frequent performance contests pit the shifts against each other for favors and prizes. New programs and procedures were often announced AFTER they have already been put into place but BEFORE any solid reference material is made available. Despite this, "Perfection" is the standard performance goal. Expect problems if you can't consistently meet numbers of 95% or better across the board.

Pros

Work-life balance is nice, very human and enjoyable staff/management, a culture of community

Cons

Weekends off are hard to come by due to the nature of the job. But PTO is available and management is flexible

Pros

Comprehensive benefits Generous amount of PTO

Cons

Income does not match current cost of living. Work could be completely remote, but isn’t. If you perform well, more will be asked of you with no compensatory incentive. Poor transitions during company acquisitions. Toxic hierarchal work environment.
