There is an ingrained culture of petty office politics, which can be really demoralising. Those workers who have been there years tend to try to use this as an excuse to boss people around and sometimes even bully them. Senior management was terrible in general: very little communication, and in all my years of working there I never once saw a senior manager tell somebody "job well done".
