Pros

- Surrounded by smart people with diverse backgrounds - Great opportunities and experience with working with tech companies of different sizes - Exposure to C-level executives that is typically harder to get as a person starting out your career or in other roles - Everyday is different, and the work is challenging but enjoyable - Resources are available - GrowthPlay leaders are transparent and are easy to access; they take in suggestions and feedback Overall, you can tell that this company cares about its employees and their personal and career development. Everyone understands the goals and visions of the company, and the company is customer and employee centric.

Cons

Not much. Only thing is that as we are growing in business deals, we need people to join the team to ensure there's enough support on projects.

Pros

Opportunity to work with super-smart people who are experts in their field. Dynamic and fun engagements. Gratifying and rewarding work.

Cons

Company has been in a state of chaos since its inception, and integration of companies never succeeded. Promised technology unveiling never happened, primary cash-cow acquisition reverted back to former identity and disassociated from holding company, and founding CEO recently ousted. It's difficult to weather the constant storms. Private equity owned company means that senior leadership is always extremely stressed, and pushes that stress downstream to all employees. There is zero transparency, which makes for a paranoid and negative culture. I witnessed a few really talented (and probably expensive) people get pushed out unfairly, and this doesn't help the culture issue at all.

Thanks for taking the time to give us some feedback. We definitely agree with you that our work is dynamic and rewarding! As a start-up company, many of those challenges you listed are to be expected, and those working at GrowthPlay have a mentality that is ready and excited to take these challenges head on. There have definitely been hurdles since our inception, but we’ve entered into 2018 stronger than ever – transparent, united, and focused. Something we really value about the culture at GrowthPlay is our employees’ ability to have a flexible work environment, which includes taking vacations, working from home, etc. We feel lucky to have the chance to embrace a balanced culture, and encourage our employees to utilize it. As the year continues to unfold, we will continue to embody these values and working hard to make our company the best it can be for both our employees and our clients.
