Pros

I have worked for many companies in my past, GrowthMed is the first that truly just lets you do your thing and gets out of your way. Most places I have worked always want to micro-manage you and here they trust you to be a professional and flex your writing muscle. We have an amazing manager that cares and she helps us all become better at our craft. I overheard people here talking about the two previous reviews, which caused me to come on here and check them out for myself. Turns out whoever posted them tried to extort our company to have the fake reviews taken down which the company did not pay of course. Sad how cruel some people can be for a quick buck. Just so everyone knows, we all have Herman Miller Aeron chairs, I checked the price online and they are about $800 - $1,100 :) There are zero COVID issues. I felt it necessary to bring clarity to Glassdoor after I saw those fake reviews as it felt unfair to me considering their desire to extort money from the company which has zero to do with the company nor the office. But now that I am here writing, let me expand on my review. I like being in an office environment around like-minded professionals vs sitting in a coffee shop all day writing for different clients and constantly having to do more sales than writing and finding the next client to write for. I have been here for about a year, this is truly the best office copywriting position I have had when you take into account the office view, the people, zero micro-management, and the results we bring to our clients and their businesses. We get to see the effect our writing has on our client's bottom line and that makes me feel good about my time spent every day.

Cons

Not a lot of food options around here so it gets a bit boring.

Pros

Steven Fruchter, the founder and CEO, is a tech wizard who started GrowthMed in order to do what very few, if any, of the other online medical marketing companies are doing; deliver actual results. And being a part of that just feels good. Most of our clients come to us not trusting our industry and it's really rewarding knowing that we can turn that around and help them learn that SEO isn't a con, that advertising can work well, and that marketing companies can offer good customer service. GrowthMed is a small company that's quickly developing a reputation as a leader in the industry and so working here offers a real opportunity for growth and advancement. Steven wants his employees to learn and grow and rewards loyalty and hard work. Everyone he hires is friendly and so GrowthMed really does feel like family to me. I personally like everyone I work with and that is priceless. No office drama. Our office is on the top floor of the only office building in Playa Del Rey so we have great views of Los Angeles, clean air, and plenty of room.

Cons

Being a small company this isn't he place for anyone who likes to disappear into a cubicle and do one thing all day. Everyone here wears multiple hats. In addition, being a small company, the success and challenges faced by the business are more apparent on a daily basis, so this isn't the best place for anyone seeking the stability of a huge corporation.
