Pros

They really try to take care of the staff. Great benefits. Always bringing in food and planning fun activities for staff.

Cons

Low pay, high turnover. Mgmt is protective of the Directors so sometimes they don't want to make changes or rock the boat. Employees' concerns are not always listened to. Too afraid of stepping on toes or making someone feel bad by making changes to move the company forward. Need more one-on-one training.

Pros

Growing Kids is more than a job—it’s a community. Teachers get real support, modern classrooms, and chances to grow their skills. The vibe is collaborative, positive, and focused on helping kids thrive through creativity and play. Growing Kids actually has benefits, award ceremonies twice a year gathering all 10 locations together. They bringing in Educational Speakers to earn credits towards teaching license. If you’re starting your teaching career, this is the best place in Indiana to learn, grow, and make an impact.

Cons

Busy days (but always rewarding) makes the day go by fast.

Pros

Discount on the child care and no weekends.

Cons

More worried about making money than safety for teachers and other children. Three year old hitting, kicking, and throwing toys. Directors and front desk don't help or give bathroom breaks. New hire training is a joke sitting with a book to memories and then written up because forgot to wipe down the table. Yet teachers who have been with growing kids for 7 - 10 years can forget a child on the playground and still working here.
