Pros
Grow Financial itself is a great company to work for. There are great people that work at Grow and some managers are not that bad either. Company culture is very good, and everyone is very close knit. Grow is consistently selected as a top workplace, year after year. There are good company benefits as well.
Cons
As stated in the subject, if you want to grow your career and move up the ranks, this is not the company to do so at. Especially in the IT department. Management in IT would rather hire people from outside the company rather than giving their current, hard-working employees opportunities to move up and grow their career. They also won't fight for you to stay if you decide to pursue a different career path. No raises, no counter offers, no negotiating whatsoever. I was very sad to have left this company, but they gave me no other choice as I felt very "stuck" and the only way to become "unstuck" is to venture off to a different company.
