Pros

Employees create a fun environment in certain teams. However, if you are not part of these teams, the team spirit won't be as good. The high turnover means it's a great place to get a lot of experience and then move on to another job with a better employer. Some of the teams are working with a good mix of new technologies which is great. I rarely had to do overtime.

Cons

The higher ups keep talking and doing nothing to address the issues. A lot of newer employees are paid under their market value which means the company has trouble hiring talent in the Montreal market. The CEO thinks he heads an awesome company and that everyone else is wrong, is often disrispectfull to employees and refuses to see reality. The company lost around one employee a week before I quit and had been losing them for over 3 month. There is also a rampant nepotism where old employees are given responsibilities despite failing to deliver any successful projects in the last 3 years.

Pros

- Team is amazing, I only worked for the IRIS team, everybody will help you with the tasks. - Technology front end Angular 2 and Back end C# - They can pay you to take the Microsoft certifications - Social Events every month (free food) and free beer every Friday. In general the environment and the people are fantastic , the releases are well planned, the team leaders are good technically and management the team.

Cons

-Vacation (below the market) - Salaries review once a year might be unfair ( if you started 1 or 3 month before the annual review you’ll need to wait until next year to get results)

Pros

Taking on this position because of the opportunity to grow has certainly paid off. I have been with Groupe AZUR for almost 2 year and still to this day, I get to learn new and exciting things each and every day. The world of technologies is vast and in constant evolution. Originally a rookie of the all Agile development related things, I feel I have professionally and personally grown leaps and bounds since I joined this company thanks to my fantastic colleagues and a CEO that believed in my abilities. I am not going to lie, not every day is a walk in the park. There are challenges, yes. With the support of colleagues, all challenges seem easier and attainable (and they make it fun too!). Even if you feel you might not have all the certifications and credentials needed to apply for a specific role, I recommend you apply if you are a team player, love being challenged and want to continue to learn. On a side note, I really enjoyed our Friday afternoon corporate scrums with everyone in the kitchen enjoying a well deserved glass of brew or red and snacks. This was a fantastic weekly event I know I was looking for to close the week and get to learn what everyone is working on, to celebrate etc. Can't wait to have these real life scrums once this global pandemic is behind us.

Cons

Trying to find some cons to add to this review and I feel the only con I can find is the fact that we all are working from home and I do miss the daily chats, the office pranks and the occasional 1 trillion Puffs surprise.
