Pros

You can make good money doing this. (60k-80k avg) You can learn a lot about sales and beyond through experience. You can make a ton of connections that will last longer than you plan on working there.

Cons

Favoritism at it's peak. If you are okay with running to buy management coffee and lunches in exchange for leads then this is the job for you! (Yes buying with YOUR money) Management will hide your commissions from you until they are ready to actually pay you. I've also caught them manipulating the numbers so that they don't have to pay you as much. There is absolutely 0 team work between departments so if you sell a car that still needs to go through the shop, be prepared to fight with the foreman, technicians, parts, reconditioning crew, and detail crew just to make sure it stays moving.

Pros

They offer employee stock benefits.

Cons

The workplace culture has deteriorated significantly over the past few years. What was once an organization employees were proud to be part of has become an environment where morale is consistently low and many employees feel disengaged and dissatisfied. The changes in leadership and culture have had a noticeable negative impact on the overall employee experience. Based on my experience, I would encourage prospective employees to avoid at all cost.
