Pros

Shorts were Permitted, some even wore sandals, Nasty, but he was in finance.

Cons

Everything Else, cheap, and cheap where you do not need to be. Tech has/d promise, but often companies will not get out of their own way.

Pros

- fellow scientists (not businessmen) who work there work hard, and are happy to teach you...were very helpful from the perspective of a new hire

Cons

-company showed poor ethics in terms of salary and wages (rarely gives out raises, pays FAR below market value, stock is not offered to employees to compensate for this wage gap) -company has little in terms of training, health and safety (won't pay for things like HAZWOPER training, etc.) -company survives off the backs of VERY lowly paid interns and workers...who are poorly rewarded -company refused to give reasonable sums to pay for standard PPE (like steel toed boots--which were pretty hard to afford on the wages being made, and durable work pants) -company provided no clear path to further my career, and furthermore, didn't care -company fails to see real potential in new hires (and just treats them like laborers) -little communication between higher-ups (businesspersons) and the rest of the company (interns, temps, new hires, and workers lower on the totem pole) -only rewards people at the top, when the people that actually contributed to the really hard work in the field were interns -didn't provide enough computers or work desks for the number of people working there...many of us were forced to sit in the(SUPER HOT) warehouse (no A/C) and bring our own laptops to work -company culture is a disgusting example of good business ethics, transparency, and treatment of employees
