Pros

The travel and medical benefits.

Cons

There is no life work balance. You work 10 hours a day , 4 days a week and expected to do overtime due to short manpower. Even then , on your off days , management will contact you regarding issues that happened during your latest shift instead of discussing during work hours. Your allowance will be deducted when you have done a mistake. For example, if there is a delay under guest service (GS) , your allowance for the month will be deducted. For other errors , your allowance for two months of pay will be deducted. Although you are overworked because you are expected to be doing the job of 5 people , management will still try to blame the workers if they make mistakes when they are tired and if possible , deduct their allowance. If you decide to resign whether before or after probation , you are required to pay back for training and uniform (which costs almost RM2K). The uniform you receive is secondhand from past workers and worn down with some even having black mould.

Pros

Training and development Teamwork within the Team Learning Daily free RM 10 (staff id) ID90 (90$ discount ticket within Malaysia under Air Asia flight)

Cons

Teams frequently hand over tasks without proper coordination, leading to inefficiencies. Additionally, management tends to complain rather than provide constructive support to staff, worsening the workload issue. This negatively impacts productivity and morale." There appears to be an imbalance in management’s approach, where Malay managers often hesitate to voice their demands or advocate strongly for their teams. In contrast, Indian managers—despite being in lower positions—seem to receive more privileges and influence, leading to perceived favoritism. This disparity affects fairness, team morale, and overall workplace equity
