Pros

I honestly can’t find one thing that makes anyone stay with groot or owner David grutman. He is vile.

Cons

No quality of life, owners friends come in eat free and don’t tip, owner treats you like you’re worthless, verbally abusive, short man syndrome, owner surrounds himself with fake friends who come in drops his name and then walks out on bill, owner creates destruction operations and dies not have any restaurant experience as a general manager or director of operations. Not a good leader and a bad person. Gives alcohol to minors and brings in escorts as well as cheats on how wife with staff.

Pros

The events and activations are genuinely exciting, working with high profile brands and being part of notable moments in Miami’s hospitality scene is a cool experience you won’t find everywhere.

Cons

Unfortunately the cons far outweigh the pros. There is no formal onboarding, no structure, and no clear path for growth, which explains why talented people consistently don’t last. Communication from leadership is poor and information is regularly withheld from the team, which directly impacts the quality of work. Leadership style is unpredictable and at times disrespectful, comments are made that are simply not appropriate for a professional environment and team members are often undermined. There is a desire to push for change but without the follow through or resources to actually support it. The team itself is incredibly talented but unfortunately the environment makes it nearly impossible to thrive. High turnover is not a coincidence here, it is a symptom of deeper leadership and structural issues that need to be addressed. Very political company
