Pros

Benefits, Pay is decent, some staff

Cons

Grifols is currently in a downward spiral. Not only did they have to lay off 2300 of their work force due to mismanagement from up above, but now they are selling off centers to other companies. This is causing a major disruption within the organization. They don't allow centers to hire as needed so the centers are running extremely short staffed because "DEH" doesn't allow it. But, when you look at the processing times and how the centers are wearing their current staff down, you should be able to justify it. Apparently, the centers being sold don't even know who they are being sold to, when they're being sold, or how their lives will change. Upper management is very out of touch with reality and treat the company as if it's a retail business, when it's not. Work/Life balance sucks. As a manager you are expected to be on call 24/7, and work weekends. In this type of environment, managers shouldn't need to work weekends, especially when they are still expected to work during the core 5 days of the week.

Pros

Good for phlebotomy experience Meet interesting people Learn to keep plates spinning Good health benefits, but not enough to outweigh the health impacts Learn working in a high-stress fast-paced work environment

Cons

Have to unlearn working in a high-stress fast-paced work environment High school drama and toxicity, management is the prom king/queen Cliquey dramatic management team Reneged agreements Playing favorites, rules for thee but not for me Private employee info gets spread, often by those who are relied upon to keep it private No work life balance or boundaries, and it's an admitted and perpetually unaddressed fault Have to be made to feel guilty for wanting to leave production, get a break, or go to the bathroom High turnover "Is everyone else working as hard as I am?",-Everyone, and eventually you
