Life at Grifols Therapeutics, NC - Senior Process Development Scientist I Grifols Employee Review

Pros

The company has products on the market so there is more job stability than for a startup company with no approved products. Benefits are good, although new management is trimming them away to save money. The work is not to busy or stressful.

Cons

Suffers from too many regimented procedures from the Bayer days. This is changing (slowly) with new Grifols management. After being acquired by Grifols, costs are being cut by reducing benefits, projects and positions. This has led to some stability, but this may have leveled off. Morale remains low as everyone waits for the next upper management decisions.

Pros

Good for phlebotomy experience Meet interesting people Learn to keep plates spinning Good health benefits, but not enough to outweigh the health impacts Learn working in a high-stress fast-paced work environment

Cons

Have to unlearn working in a high-stress fast-paced work environment High school drama and toxicity, management is the prom king/queen Cliquey dramatic management team Reneged agreements Playing favorites, rules for thee but not for me Private employee info gets spread, often by those who are relied upon to keep it private No work life balance or boundaries, and it's an admitted and perpetually unaddressed fault Have to be made to feel guilty for wanting to leave production, get a break, or go to the bathroom High turnover "Is everyone else working as hard as I am?",-Everyone, and eventually you
