The location I worked at had no other employees so I was completely alone to deal with both appointments as well as walk-ins needing help filling out their state applications, so be prepared to deal with everyone wanting your full attention and people getting upset when you have to focus on patients with appointments first. No security, the doc was telemed only so they weren't even there. They didn't even hire another receptionist. The supervisor/manager lived 3 hours away, so I was completely alone. Because they didn't hire another receptionist, there was no one to cover for me when I became suddenly ill one day. I was unable to call in immediately due to vertigo making me unable to even look at my phone. I was fired because of this, even though it was a one time offense. I was never late, only had to ask off a couple times to get my covid vaccine, and always did a good job, so I was literally fired for getting severely sick the one time. So if you have any kind of disability or get sick like any normal person does, I would not recommend working for GHD. It is rather hypocritical that they are in the business of helping people with disabilities, but when it comes to their employees having a disability or getting sick they are very unsympathetic. If you do decide to work here make sure you aren't the only one hired so you do not run into the same problems I did.
