It’s honestly the CEO who is the main problem at this company. He tends to squeeze every possible ounce of work out of employees to maximize profits, with very little concern for how that impacts people on a personal level. Expectations keep getting raised, but there’s almost no support, appreciation, or understanding in return. Extended hours are treated like the norm, and work‑life balance is clearly not a priority.
He often comes across as extremely inconsiderate, especially when it comes to workload, personal time, and basic respect for employees. Instead of motivating people, this leadership style creates constant pressure, burnout, and low morale. It makes what could be a decent job feel unnecessarily stressful and draining.
I eventually left to join a direct competitor, and the difference is night and day. I now have better pay, a healthier work‑life balance, and leadership that actually values its employees. Looking back, leaving was absolutely the right decision.
