Pros

- The company has made a positive impact on its customers with its products - Many employees there aim to build a healthy team environment

Cons

- Unhealthy hierarchy (e.g. middle management leads would refuse to have discussions or arrive at decisions with employees 'beneath' them) - Not transparent about the poor financial situation despite being directly asked at monthly Q+As and townhalls - C-suite forecasted product numbers with their oversized egos, and without the actual team's input - C-suite showed a lack of competence in guiding product teams and strategy (e.g. wasted months of time debating topics of little value, when they should've been transparently communicating urgent needs and priorities) - In the year of 2020-2021, 4 C-level (CMO, CTO x2, CPO) joined and left the company within months A lot of people were hired at the start of the pandemic in 2020, and were told that "Corona has been great for business!" Fast-forward to the spring of 2021, where all employees had to go into Kurzarbeit (short-time work) because Corona had apparently been terrible for the company's finances. Around 20+ people were laid off shortly after. Lots of red flags.

Dear former team member, Thank you for your detailed review here and your intention to help the company and the employees with your open feedback. I'm getting in touch late and at a time when Greator is doing well, but I came across your review and don't want to leave it uncommented. In fact, we were not doing well at the time you posted the review, as Corona faced us with greater challenges than we initially thought. There were also opportunities during the crisis, but we had to make difficult and never-before-seen decisions to make the company crisis-proof in the long term. We are not perfect and have certainly made mistakes in dealing with this crisis. We have taken your feedback and the feedback from other colleagues very seriously in terms of how we have handled this crisis and I can say that we have learned from it. We are especially happy for our employees that we have come out of the crisis stronger and that we can now look back on the most successful years in Greator's history. It is an ongoing process to work on ourselves. That is what we try to do by learning from our yearly employee survey and our 360-degree feedback process. All the best Caro Senior People & Culture Manager

Pros

A lot of highly skilled people hired, meaning amazing colleagues with lots of knowledge and motivation to change the world.

Cons

- The coaching industry has both good content and shocking hypocrisy. Lack of employee wellbeing and development at Greator has been a sad example of the hypocrisy side of the industry where people are not the priority - Dramatic employee turnover and layoffs, including C-levels joining and leaving very rapidly. Also very stress inducing communication and behaviour of top leadership through a lot of those situations - Catastrophic financial planning and control of expenses that's crushed the business, those who speak up against this are silenced and considered "not positive monsters" - Very little strategic thinking, a lot of quick fix mentality - Culture was a huge selling point in 2020 but it turned out to be empty words over time. The heavily hierarchal management style, lack of honest feedback, defensiveness, lack of learning, lack of inclusion (e.g. avoiding financial transparency when asked in town halls) have no place in the "scaling-up culture" that was being sold.

Dear former colleague, Thank you for your feedback and for a shared time at Greator! We would like to address a few aspects of your evaluation and are sorry that you feel the way you do. Like many other companies, we have had challenges in the past year, which included having to part with valued employees. These steps were not easy for us, but have ensured that we are protected from unforeseen challenges like Covid-19 in the future. We are certainly not perfect, but we are continuously working on our communication and our culture. We installed an extensive 360 degree review process over the past few years where developing our employees and giving feedback to them as well as the management team is the central focus. In addition to the many benefits we provide to our employees, such as our Workation Days, where working from anywhere in the world is made possible, participating in our coaching trainings or our yearly team trip, we are continuously working on the further development of our Core Values. We take our responsibility to our customers and our employees very seriously and would be happy to talk to you again to take your feedback if you are interested. All the best Your People & Culture Team

Pros

- Formed some great product teams - Ambitious goals

Cons

- Don't know how to get there - C-Level didn't present a real forecast during the product development, more the 23 firings happened, dismatled teams - Don't talk about the bad points, is ommited and then, surprise with a bomb
