Pros

Better starting pay than most management companies in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Area. Offers PTO and benefits after a probationary period.

Cons

Horrible upper managment, lack of professionalism across the board, violated fair housing laws on a daily basis, unfair treatment and harrassment of residents and employees, zero recourse for breach in employee's rights and resident's privacy rights, lack of effective communication skills from all parties (property owners, managers, COO, company president), incorrectly pay their staff on many occasions (seemingly on purpose; i.e. shady business practices), workplace discrimination.

Pros

Great Lakes is a company that's constantly growing and evolving. They truly value innovation and are open to improving processes and doing things differently. Most importantly, they genuinely want to hear from their employees—and they listen. Choosing to work for Great Lakes Management has been the best career decision I've ever made
