Pros

At Grants Plus, you will get the opportunity to work with some of the greatest human beings on planet earth. You will also enjoy flexible (and fully remote) work-life balance and get the opportunity to do rewarding and fulfilling work for nonprofits across the country (and learn a lot along the way!). If what's most important to you in an employer includes stable work life balance, rewarding work, and great co-workers, this is the company for you.

Cons

Brace yourself for impact.... A LOT. This company has frequent leadership changes, organizational restructures and high turnover. You may also find yourself up against a low salary, a messy CRM, ever-changing process instructions, and getting asked to take on extra work you won't get compensated fairly for (if at all). There is little to no room for career mobility within the organization so this company is not a good fit for anyone who is career ambitious-- especially since professional growth can be tough when the company is constantly reinventing the wheel, putting out fires, and pulling the rug out from underneath you. Lack of trust in executive leadership is a chronic condition that flares again and again without relief (stemming from some very real wounds that you should not take lightly). If you do decide to work here, I would say, "Sit tight, grab the hand of the teammate beside you, and HOLD ON-- it's going to be a bumpy ride! (even if you won't really end up going anywhere but in circles)".

Pros

Outstanding culture. Strong leadership. Great work-life balance. Mission-driven. Caring, empathetic collogues with a genuine passion for helping and supporting the nonprofit community.

Cons

Overall, the 100% remote workplace is a pro, but it would be nice to connect with colleagues in-person more regularly.

Pros

Flexibility of working remote and HR prioritizing equality where possible.

Cons

Messy internal politics with minimal opportunity for career growth despite what they claim during the interview. They hire outside consultants instead of promoting the people they trained already.
