Pros
-Your time is spent adding value to the state of Texas
-The company actually cares about their employees, and they show in their actions as well as their words
-Management gives you the freedom to use creative solutions to get the job done
-Time off is unquestioned and accrued at a very fair rate
-Compensation is fair, as well as random bonuses
-No culture of micro-management, but also a safe environment to ask questions (even if you've asked them before) without being made to feel bad or incompetent for asking
-Sense of job security, both with individual projects and the constant growth of the company
-Continued WFH without any pressure on anyone to show up to the office if they are uncomfortable with current COVID cases
Cons
-Reply-all emails (hardly a concern in the grand scheme of things)
-No stipend for using personal tools/services for business
-Sometimes have to deal with government agencies that lack an appropriate sense of urgency (not within GW)
