Pros

Genuinely great co workers. Most team managers are good people and intelligent. Can gain some experience with wide range of network tech. Not much though if you arent self-motivated because there is minimal training and no path for growth

Cons

Horrible pay. Dont believe the fake positive reviews from the last few months. They laid off tons of people. Everyone working for Granite hates the company because its like the executives see the staff as peasants. No promotions. No raises. No growth path. Horrible internal systems. Everything is a constant mess. Infinite tickets. Customers hate you, hate the company. Everything from front to back in the process is messed up because we all have so much work to do that you cant do a good job. Focusing on quality of work will get you fired because youre expected to be a call center rep while being assigned a dozen tickets with no line between the amount of effort it will take from one to the next.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. While it’s difficult to hear that your experience at Granite has been frustrating, we appreciate you taking the time to provide an honest and detailed perspective. We’re glad to hear that you found your coworkers and many of our team managers to be intelligent and supportive—that sense of camaraderie is something we truly value at Granite. We also recognize your point about the opportunity to gain technical exposure, and we agree that a self-motivated approach is often key in a fast-paced environment like ours. At the same time, we're deeply sorry to hear that you felt unsupported in terms of training, advancement, and overall workload. The challenges you mentioned—including compensation, internal systems, and role expectations—are taken seriously. Like many organizations, we've had to make tough decisions during times of change, but those decisions are never made lightly and we remain committed to treating all employees with respect. We’re actively working to improve internal processes, invest in better tools, and enhance training programs so that our teams can succeed and grow in their careers. Feedback like yours helps shine a light on areas that need attention, and we appreciate your candor. We know we’re not perfect, but we’re always striving to be better—for our employees, our clients, and our future.

Pros

No pros what so ever.

Cons

This company and specifically the collections department have very little opportunity for growth, despite what may be promised during the hiring process. Honestly, it’s a circus. Non stop tasks are thrown at employees each day. And Goals are constantly increased so analyst can’t reach them. Employees who work hard and consistently perform well often find themselves stuck in the same position with no clear path for advancement. Promotions and opportunities never appear to be based on performance or merit. Management is one of the biggest issues. They have no clue. Favoritism is prevalent, and certain employees seem to receive special treatment, better opportunities, and more support than others. This creates a frustrating and discouraging work environment where many employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Morale suffers when performance and dedication are overlooked in favor of personal relationships and when there is little accountability for management and no transparency regarding career development. Communication from leadership is lacking, and employee concerns are not addressed. Management gets defensive when employees ask questions or disagree with their stupid decisions. Overall, it can be a VERY challenging place to build a longterm career if you are looking for fair treatment, professional growth, and strong leadership. Turnover rate is very high. Also, micro management is at an all time high. Would not even recommend this place to a college grad for entry level experience, if i could Put 0 stars, i would. For the sake of your mental health, stay far away.
