Pros

-Huge, updated gym -Awesome co-workers

Cons

-Extremely low pay, even for entry level. Could almost make the same amount at star bucks. When recruiting, they mention a yearly, but that includes the quarterly bonuses which really add up to nothing. Especially w/ cost of living in Boston and bachelors degree requirement for role, it’s impossible to survive unless you don’t mind driving 40+ minutes up from the south shore or far out of the city in general. Most young, fresh out of college analysts (the majority) have to have some sort of secondary supplemental income to survive -overworked and underpaid -SUPER high turnover rate -micro managed/helicopter upper management (example, clock in a minute late, terrible employee, regardless of productivity) -office is super out of date for today’s younger generation, w/ sea of cubicles and dreary carpets and lights -constantly putting out fires because nothing ever goes right -semi easy to get promoted after a year but pay increase is still not great and it’s almost impossible to ask for a raise and get it, even for managers.

Pros

No pros what so ever.

Cons

This company and specifically the collections department have very little opportunity for growth, despite what may be promised during the hiring process. Honestly, it’s a circus. Non stop tasks are thrown at employees each day. And Goals are constantly increased so analyst can’t reach them. Employees who work hard and consistently perform well often find themselves stuck in the same position with no clear path for advancement. Promotions and opportunities never appear to be based on performance or merit. Management is one of the biggest issues. They have no clue. Favoritism is prevalent, and certain employees seem to receive special treatment, better opportunities, and more support than others. This creates a frustrating and discouraging work environment where many employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Morale suffers when performance and dedication are overlooked in favor of personal relationships and when there is little accountability for management and no transparency regarding career development. Communication from leadership is lacking, and employee concerns are not addressed. Management gets defensive when employees ask questions or disagree with their stupid decisions. Overall, it can be a VERY challenging place to build a longterm career if you are looking for fair treatment, professional growth, and strong leadership. Turnover rate is very high. Also, micro management is at an all time high. Would not even recommend this place to a college grad for entry level experience, if i could Put 0 stars, i would. For the sake of your mental health, stay far away.
