Pros

The only "pro" I could possibly think of would be they are extremely charitable, however you are forced into it each Friday and if you don't contribute you are looked down upon and called out by the CEO each Monday morning meeting.

Cons

Let me start by saying I wish I could give this company zero stars, one is too many. This list never ends and I encourage you to continue scrolling through the bad reviews because they are all true and any "good reviews" are from the sales team who were told to put good reviews to try and balance out the bad. The company has a young culture but no one stays long enough for you to make friends, they drop the hammer at any time, especially if you are a temp. This creates a culture of fear. Fear that at any time, they can let you go. Let me stress this as many times as possible.. there is no HR department so they can get away with it. Don't be as silly as me and think that is okay. It isn't, and you will come to find out this "billion dollar company" is definitely fishy. Yes, this is a billion dollar company, however they LOWERED the commission which was already extremely poor in order to gain more money for themselves. The CEO makes over 100 million dollars a year, yet reduces the main point of the job? Yeah, red flag. The worst management I have ever come across. Drama is created out of thin air and passed onto the people who actually care and take the time to do the work but they never see any reward. They break you down until basically there is nothing left but to leave to save your sanity; either that or start taking drugs like the majority of the sales department (I have witnessed many drug deals go down in the parking lot). If you are looking for overtime, expect A TON but expect to not get paid for it (yes, this is ILLEGAL. See next point...) Again, there is no HR department so if you have a problem about anything (which you most likely will) you have to go through the legal department (consisting of ONE person) who does not keep anything confidential. Ever seen a stampede? Just wait until you see Granite at 5:00.01 - people will shove you to get down the stairs as fast as possible and that is only for the lucky ones - if you work on certain teams, I have seen people get quarterly reviews (which always come out a week or so before the next quarter is scheduled to end) and if you dare work your scheduled shift (meaning you don't work through lunch, stay until at least 5:15, etc) you are written up and given a "1" (on a scale from 1-5.. 1 being worst) on your review that states you are an 8-5 worker - however, 8-5 is all you will actually get paid for so this is completely backwards and again working without getting paid is illegal. Let me try and explain the "culture of fear" in another sense: Upper management walks around to "say hello" however that is their way of checking up on you and if you are on your phone or on restricted websites, it is noted by the COO and you will get a nasty email from your supervisor. Supervisors are no worse. They are always talking about you in emails behind your back and have their team leads act like "spies"to catch you doing anything other than being glued to your chair looking at your screen. They discourage any type of friendship within the departments. For example: It was my birthday and a couple coworkers stopped by my desk to wish me a quick "happy birthday" and not two minutes later I had a high importance email from my supervisor telling me if anyone came to my desk again, I would get a warning because the COO was upset with me for having interaction during work hours. Every single day I lived in fear of getting fired because of this culture of fear they created out of absolutely nothing. Each week while temping, you have to meet with him and it is terrifying. You are required to ask at least one question each meeting and if you ask a repeat question or you dare ask a question he doesn't like, you will be fired and this is not an exaggeration. I have seen numerous talented workers get fired because they asked him about things like their future in possible marketing (no marketing department) or just something as simple as he didn't happen to like what you asked. They have a person in the IT department that monitors everyones web traffic and tries to trick people by unblocking certain sites and sends a list of the "top ten offenders" each week to the COO. Good luck if you are on there even once, once that man makes up his mind there is no going back - and he remembers every single person's name the first time meeting you, which is incredible despite the very high turnover. Team lead positions are completely based on who they like the best (see spy point above) and once they have made up their mind about you there is no saving it. Anyone who gets promoted does the bare minimum and is allowing the supervisors to push them around and puppeteer their work days. Are you a detailed person who likes to explain things? DON'T BOTHER. You will get an email response saying that they "won't even read an email that long" (even though this is their JOB but instead they are sending personal emails, texting and doing online shopping on their phones while others are extremely stressed and slaving trying to meet ridiculous deadlines- this is not a joke) until you bullet point it or send anything under a paragraph. Even if it makes sense to write something that detailed, regardless, you will get all types of rude questions and follow up emails thrown at you. You are always asked to explain yourself if you make any type of error even if it was a simple mistake. NO GROWTH - if you are looking for a company to succeed in - this is not the company for you. They love putting people down the latter and provide no rewards for good work. Only worry about pointing the finger and holding grudges against people who put hard work and effort in. The cafeteria is extremely small and way over priced and they never offer anything you would be willing to pay that price for. Everyone is required to take lunch from 12-1 so you wait in a line to get a sandwich until 12:45 then have a few minutes to wolf it down and get back to work. The sales department is an ABSOLUTE nightmare to work with and they are told to lie to customers. If you like kissing up to the management here, expect to still get shafted. This is a company who thrives on lies and deceit so save yourself from this prison.

Pros

No pros what so ever.

Cons

This company and specifically the collections department have very little opportunity for growth, despite what may be promised during the hiring process. Honestly, it’s a circus. Non stop tasks are thrown at employees each day. And Goals are constantly increased so analyst can’t reach them. Employees who work hard and consistently perform well often find themselves stuck in the same position with no clear path for advancement. Promotions and opportunities never appear to be based on performance or merit. Management is one of the biggest issues. They have no clue. Favoritism is prevalent, and certain employees seem to receive special treatment, better opportunities, and more support than others. This creates a frustrating and discouraging work environment where many employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Morale suffers when performance and dedication are overlooked in favor of personal relationships and when there is little accountability for management and no transparency regarding career development. Communication from leadership is lacking, and employee concerns are not addressed. Management gets defensive when employees ask questions or disagree with their stupid decisions. Overall, it can be a VERY challenging place to build a longterm career if you are looking for fair treatment, professional growth, and strong leadership. Turnover rate is very high. Also, micro management is at an all time high. Would not even recommend this place to a college grad for entry level experience, if i could Put 0 stars, i would. For the sake of your mental health, stay far away.
