Pros

Granite isn’t really a first-choice job, it’s more of a last resort to get your foot in the door and build experience. You can move up quickly if you’re good at your job, but beyond that, the company is extremely dysfunctional. The PMO is run by people who don’t seem to understand the basics of process management, and most of what gets implemented makes little sense. If you provide feedback, they’ll listen but rarely make any changes. A perfect example is the new Salesforce ordering process. The PMO gave leadership a detailed list of what was needed to make it work efficiently, but only a small portion of the suggestions were implemented. The result was a system that created more problems than it solved. If you plan to work here, use it as a stepping stone. Get a year of experience under your belt and then leave. You’ll almost certainly make at least $30,000 more at another company that’s run far better.

Cons

The entire company is a con

We understand that large-scale process changes, such as the Salesforce implementation, can bring challenges, and we’re continuing to refine and optimize our systems based on employee input and performance data. Pros

No pros what so ever.

Cons

This company and specifically the collections department have very little opportunity for growth, despite what may be promised during the hiring process. Honestly, it’s a circus. Non stop tasks are thrown at employees each day. And Goals are constantly increased so analyst can’t reach them. Employees who work hard and consistently perform well often find themselves stuck in the same position with no clear path for advancement. Promotions and opportunities never appear to be based on performance or merit. Management is one of the biggest issues. They have no clue. Favoritism is prevalent, and certain employees seem to receive special treatment, better opportunities, and more support than others. This creates a frustrating and discouraging work environment where many employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Morale suffers when performance and dedication are overlooked in favor of personal relationships and when there is little accountability for management and no transparency regarding career development. Communication from leadership is lacking, and employee concerns are not addressed. Management gets defensive when employees ask questions or disagree with their stupid decisions. Overall, it can be a VERY challenging place to build a longterm career if you are looking for fair treatment, professional growth, and strong leadership. Turnover rate is very high. Also, micro management is at an all time high. Would not even recommend this place to a college grad for entry level experience, if i could Put 0 stars, i would. For the sake of your mental health, stay far away.
