Pros
Excellent retirement plan, goal rewards, trips for making team goal. Lots of fun after hours events. Fun co workers
Cons
no real training or assistance from management. No mentors. It's sink or swim once you are in the sales role. There is a decent turnover and when people leave their accounts are distributed by management and the favorites are given the better accounts on a consistent basis. If you are not a top performer the support from management is minimal so newer people struggle to move up and long term people who aren't doing very well, continue to not do very well. pay program has been changed so underperformers were threatened to do better instead of helping. my pay plan is different from newer employees and its not in a performance manner. It has been changed for newer people to look less intimidating, also sales people are expected to work 24/7. taking time off means your business is put on hold unless you have an account manager. plan on working on sick days and while trying to have a day off because your pay depends on it, Paid time off gets capped pretty early compared to most other places around on top of it. At first the pay looks great but over time it just gets reduced and you are totally reliant on commission. Its very stressful and really gets to a lot of people very quickly. There is the opportunity to make a lot of money, but you are doing it all by yourself so if logistics is something you want to get into, I would look into becoming an agent on your own.
