      Lip service to equity and inclusion Extremely homogenous faculty and study body Rigid thinking Passive aggressive communication between faculty "The customer is king" approach - families can walk all over faculty and use money/influence/connections

      A lot of freedom for course content I teach, little micromanaging.

      Pros

      Smart people who care about their work.

      Cons

      Can be cliquey. Admin is all over the place. School culture is constantly in flux, kids have insane number of classes so nothing really feels that important unless the teachers scare them. Some parents have more money than sense.
