Good mission, overcrowded - Research Engineer Google DeepMind Employee Review

Very over crowded now with people who don’t know what they’re doing, no proactive leadership, reactive “leaders” only who get obsessed with the next shiny thing and cause chaos, and a bunch of people who love sucking up to them. No roadmap or clarity , everything is on fire all the time, no one takes accountability for anything. Very very political place. So many “senior” people who love to hear themselves talk but don’t do any real work, and distract those that do so they can be listed as a leader and get clout and compensation for that.
