Pros
This job is very easy, you get a 20% discount on most items, you can buy snacks, they reimburse for bus cards, the health insurance is okay, sometimes management will throw small parties, seeing all the donations is fun, schedule moderately flexible
Cons
Managers don't pull their weight, at the time I was employed there Goodwill didn't seem to think it was worth investing in employee safety, people use drugs in the fitting rooms and bathrooms, customers can be entitled, stores can be understaffed, subpar employees hired, managers pretend like they want to promote you and then never do, very emotionally taxing, the regional managers are terrible, employees are encouraged to overprice donations
