omg this job is so nasty. I wish I knew how the dontation process worked prior to working here as a customer because I would have steered clear from shopping and from working there not sure if everyone knows that the donations we receive directly in the back of the store goes straight onto the racks/shelves. 90% of bins had bugs , fecal matter, urine, trash, and some unrecognizable substances. you would think that the bins that contained such hazardous contents would immediately be at the least washed but in reality thrown in the garbage. nope the stuff that wasn't obviously stained from the heap is sorted out and put onto racks and pushed straight out the back to the sales floor. that can not be good for people's health, especially as it is not widely known how gross it is and to waSH WHAT YOU BUY! CLOTHES, LAMPS, TOYS nothing is safe I've had roaches, ants , spiders, water bugs, frogs, crawling all over me or hop onto my chest I did not sign up for this!

Pros

Having a set schedule every week with 2 days off in a row Goodwill scholarship program is fantastic lots of career advice and support giving back to the community

Cons

Working weekends, nights, and holidays The customers are so rude Management says one thing but then caves to the customers which undermines the employees so many exchanges the clientele rude people the customers
