Pros

Close to my home, some of the repeat customers were really sweet and became good friends

Cons

Management is completely twisted. Rules and regulations only apply if corporate is in the building. Managers will make exceptions to policy if customers threaten to call the main office. I was chastised several times for quoting company policy to a customer and told i to make the customer happy even if it was clear they were scamming or trying to rip off the store. Thrre were days i was left upfront as tge only cashier with a line wairing on management to answer a code. They treated me like an idiot child joking about me always needing help because i called codes because I was terrified to misring items. I am very hard worker and do my best to always follow all company policy and I found it very difficult to do my job here

Pros

Great pay, good team, flexibility and decent work

Cons

Dusty sometimes and some of the stuff can be gross but that's just part of working at a thrift store, having to handle that stuff

Pros

Having a set schedule every week with 2 days off in a row Goodwill scholarship program is fantastic lots of career advice and support giving back to the community

Cons

Working weekends, nights, and holidays The customers are so rude Management says one thing but then caves to the customers which undermines the employees so many exchanges the clientele rude people the customers
