Awesome Experience! - Marketing Advocate GoodSeeker Employee Review

I absolutely love working with our GoodSeeker Customers and helping them work through "how will I get stories from my donors, alumni, volunteers, partners, and employees". Stories help attract, retain, and show the heart and soul of an organization. I have learned so much over my years at GoodSeeker and in many different areas: sales, marketing, customer success, onboarding, how to give a demo - I have always been encouraged to ask questions here. Great work/life balance. I have never felt stressed about asking to go to a doctors appointment in the afternoon or for some time off to travel. The people here genuinely care about you being successful and growing your confidence in the role. This is a company that leads with kindness. :)

Small team, but the workload is pretty managable and we always lean on each other for support.

Even though this is a small company, the people and the mission are great! Helping good companies become better! What I like about GoodSeeker is helping companies capture examples of company culture/content they can use to attract people that are alike. As Gary Vaynerchuk said, "Culture is the biggest driver of business growth." I also get to work closely with the CEO and CTO. I am blessed that they take the time to mentor me and really care about my growth and success. I managed to learn so much from them and feel more confident in myself through their teachings. Love the environment and makes me want to come to work every day to learn and help the business grow. I still struggle at times, but hey, you can't grow/learn/succeed without failing first. If you want to work here, you have to have grit, the right attitude, and the passion for the mission. Otherwise, I suggest you find work elsewhere. And that's okay!. Find what is best for you and what's the best fit. But if you decide, GoodSeeker welcomes you! Hope this helps whoever is reading it.

It is a small company and still growing, but that's the fun part. Building something from scratch and watching it grow throughout is wonderful. If you don't like going through the challenges and just want to "be comfortable", it is not a fit for you.
