Pros

Let's start with the pros: - new office in Soma featuring stylish exposed brick, sonos speakers in the office, occasional catered lunch (typical SF tech stuff) - many are attracted to Good&Co because of the (seemingly) positive mission - improving workplace culture, finding your best employer fit, etc. (Read more below to discover the irony of it all!) - there are some great co-workers (but most leave after a short period) - dog friendly office

Cons

- incredible employee turnover. when I first started there was a mass exodus of people quitting and now company is currently experiencing another wave of exits. talent is walking right out of the door. - despite the company's mission, this organization is a hotbed of toxic politics primarily due to the volatile CEO. depending on his mood, you're either a 'rockstar' or you're useless. the CEO badmouths ex-employees during meetings as he is in utter denial of -why- people are quitting and refuses to acknowledge the issues. - most of upper management is clueless when it comes to creating actionable business plans or go-to-market strategies. projects are a disaster. - constant refusal to allow employees to partake in employee development courses or training despite claiming they'll provide "whatever you need to be amazing at your job."

As you have seen, key employees have been hired as of late to make sure we are heading towards our goals and bettering as a company. We are also providing managers with more training and other resources to help them be better leaders. As for employees, we encourage them to seek any courses, seminars or conference in which they can improve their skills and Good&co. covers the expense costs.
