Pros

Working at Good Energy has been an absolute pleasure. Some of the things I've liked about it: - Friendly working culture - As a software developer, opportunities to work with cool tech e.g. Azure functions - I've had plenty of support from my colleagues to grow in my career - Great work-life-balance

Cons

Honestly, I haven't been able to think of any. From my understanding, the company has become a great place to work compared to where it was a few years ago (before I joined). You could say some of the infrastructure is dated, but the exciting part is you get to work on replacing that with new and improved microservice architecture.

Pros

• Supportive culture — The people at Good Energy are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and passionate about what they do. • Strong mission — The company’s commitment to sustainability and doing the right thing for customers is real, not just a slogan. • Flexible and understanding management — My manager was supportive and always willing to help when I needed guidance. • Positive work environment — Teams collaborate well and there’s a genuine sense of wanting to improve things.

Cons

• Role fit — The role ultimately didn’t align with my strengths or the type of work I’m best at. • Pace and structure — The environment can be fast‑moving and process‑heavy, which won’t suit everyone.
