Pros

Get to play virtual golf for free. Will get offered loads of hours to work. Bar on site. Get to watch during your work shift.

Cons

Worst kind of human being as a boss. The owner, Jeff, has absolutely no idea what he is doing, and is an embarrassment. Lack of people skills, communication skills, and respect for his employees livelihood. He will charm you when you first meet him with the endless possibilities that you could accomplish working at GolfManhattan. But you will quickly learn that the lack of trust is overwhelming, and you'll be lucky to get anything accomplished without being micro managed or given a speech as if you're being grounded. But worst of all, the lack of being able to pay people on time is ridiculous. Save yourself from the headache and let that man continue to sink his own ship.

Pros

Great location, great idea. You are able to play golf and interact with customers. The customers who come are generally very nice and reasonable.

Cons

The OWNER, Jeff. Jeff is an unstable human being who brings his personal problems to work and puts them on his employees shoulders. I have written emails from Jeff telling me about his personal life and how I need to help me be "happy again" or I won't be employees any longer. In the beginning, you are presented with amazing ideas and business opportunities, just to figure out that he will not authorize you to do any of them. Basically, you go in a big circle until you realize nothing will be accomplished. A ton of micromanaging and disrespect from the owner. I once had to stop giving a lesson because I was interrupted by the owner showing up and screaming at another employee In front of customers. The employee had only been with the company for 1 week. I've had to sit through the awkward experience of the owner YELLING at a customer for not understanding the guidelines of a lesson package we offered. This customer was a top 20 paying customer in the last year, looking to spend hundreds and the owner was belittling him Also, being paid on time was a rare occurrence. We would be paid sometimes as much as a week late. The owner would tell us he just didn't have the money. (Hence the reason I left, along with the constant disrespect)
