Pros
I have worked for Goldin Solar for almost 2 years, this is a company about growth and opportunity. I have a large background in sales, and this is one of the only companies that truly put their values on the table to be very clear. Integrity, quality of workmanship, and customer service are all very clearly part of the mission at Goldin Solar. Knowing that what we sell truly is the quality that we state, the fact that our installation quality is far and above most competition, and that they consistently exceed customer expectations really makes you take a lot of pride in what we sell. Everyone here is like family, and that is the key reason why I wake up and look forward to my work every day. Other pros are that we are provided a gas card for fuel and tolls. This is from a sales perspective, but this is a very no nonsense business, so you get out of this what you put in, and those that do put the work in have found that they offer a very aggressive pay structure, with bonuses to top performers monthly. They also offer the ability to work from home, but also have office space to come in and train to further your knowledge in solar and sales, along with weekly meetings to recap on the week and communicate any new info.
Cons
This is not really a con if you know what you are getting into, but just to be stated this is a 1099 job for sales. If you do not sell, you will lose opportunity over time. Also, like most 1099 jobs, insurance is something that you will have to source personally.
