Pros

Fun, friendly people. They know a lot about sales tactics. Lots of company retreats (for higher ups only)

Cons

No matter what position you applied for, they'll start you at the bottom of the sales pyramid. You'll get $70 a day for 10 hour days and nothing more. The work is driving around the bay to Best Buys or Walmarts, standing there all day and bothering customers to get them to buy whatever product GSC is marketing for. If you can survive that long enough and make significant sales they might promote you, but I didn't stay long enough to find out. Unless you're looking to be a salesperson, stay away. Don't listen to the fake reviews (they all have the same title, what a coincidence), this is a pyramid scheme

Pros

The moment I stepped foot into the office I was introduced to everyone and was made to feel extremely welcome. There was an open door policy in the company and because I was only there for a short internship, management were caring enough to tailor the job role for my degree and teach the skills that I was personally excited to learn. I've done internships before where I spent my time printing documents and bringing coffee, this felt like real life experience and really helped me develop my confidence and people skills.

Cons

Having to say goodbye and go back to college after I had made so many close friends.

Pros

The people generally seemed to be nice, supportive and friendly

Cons

Very little insight into the actual job during the hiring process. You are expected to dress business professional to stand in a Best Buy for 8 hours a day. Unfortunately they also don’t tell you that you need to meet at the office before and after your working hours so any commute time to the office in the morning and then to your job site and back are unpaid. They also did not tell me during the hiring process that you are also expected to work 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday for a an incredibly low daily base pay. Other than the already mentioned red flags, they also informed us on our first day that we would not receive our first paycheck for 3+ weeks.
